Lakeside Painting now sits at the top of Google for “painters in Wanaka”, ahead of painting companies that have been established in the area for years.

The site was built on a strong local SEO foundation with clear service pages and a conversion-focused structure — and it keeps the team booked out full-time, without paying for ads.

The same playbook has since been rolled out to their cedar specialty at Lakeside Cedar, a standalone site targeting cedar staining and restoration searches across the Queenstown Lakes — the same hub-and-spoke structure, pointed at a single high-value service.

Google's AI is now surfacing Lakeside for high-intent local searches.

In an incognito check, Google AI Mode presented Lakeside Painting first for “painter in Wanaka” and included it among the recommended businesses for “best painter in Wanaka”.
